Found a digital copy of 'Love Quest' by (B)Ape Sounds recording artist WISE (of Teriyaki Boyz fame) and I've been giving it a quick listen and thus far it's pretty good. It's kind of like his first release, 太陽の子供 (Children of the Sun) but with more of a pop edge to it...kind of like with a little infusion of
808s & Heartbreak in that there's much more of a singing vibe than a rapping one.
I would recommend anyone with an open mind towards stuff like J-Pop should give it a listen, there's some good stuff in there musically, even if yuo don't understand most of what's being said. It just dropped last week [5/27/09] and is available via
