Swagger Jackin' on T.I.T.S.
In a very clear-cut case of straight-up jacking of a design/concept, the T.I.T.S. blog has taken to putting this out there on blast for all to see...and seeing as I just think it's all sorts of fucked up that this did indeed happen, I thought I'd post up about it to spread the word.
Peep the original post HERE.
Chromeo "Don’t Turn The Lights On"
Electro funk lovers Chromeo release the official video for their energizing single “Don’t Turn The Lights On”. Contrary to initial expectation the Canadian chose a library over a dancefloor as the setting for this entertaining visual. Also expect lots of bizarre characters with torned eyeballs to appear on this one. The song is taken from their forthcoming third LP Business Casual.

Star Wars x Stussy 'Dark Side' Tee
Late last week marked the unveiling of an upcoming MEDICOM TOY release featuring Star Wars’ Darth Vader and Stussy. To compliment the mid-August release of the 400% BEARBRICK, a limited edition t-shirt will also drop alongside the toy. Featuring an iconic Vader quote, “You Don’t Know The Power Of The Dark Side!!!”, the shirt features Stussy’s signature typeface. The t-shirt will be limited to 100 pieces and release on August 14th, 2010. However it will not be for sale and given away for free as a special lottery for those who purchase the Darth Vader BEARBRICK.
Peep the Be@rbrick below; plus, look for an official release on August 14th through ISETAN Shinjuku, as well as other select stockists.

What's up Doc(s)?!
Just wanted to give a quick hello to any/everyone who pops in here every now and then and reassure that I haven't abandoned this little corner of web space but it just gets a little tougher from time to time to post comprehensive updates on stuff, plus there hasn't been too much interesting stuff to share with y'all.
On top of that, I've been trying to improve and hold down a bunch of different things, from the other blogs I work on for friend's stuff to working on sharpening up my Photoshop skills (or lack thereof)...add in my regular 9 to 5 job stuff and still maintaining some semblance of a personal/social life, and we get an idea of where all my time goes...whew!
So that's what's going on in my world...hope you feel caught up...lol

More 'Tron: Legacy' Stuff
Man, all the stuff I keep seeing from Tron: Legacy makes me want to see it more and more [just not in 3D]. Check these out.
The images are from this month's Empire Magazine, on newsstands today and featuring all sorts of Tron: Legacy goodness. Like how David Fincher gave notes on a rough cut! Hopefully he's injecting a little more Fight Club and a little less The Social Network.

Carbon Fiber Toilet?!?
Italian designer Alberto Del Biond has created a carbon fiber toilet. Why? That's what I want to know (for real!).
It's part of his line of Nerocarbonio design, that go from Bimota bikes to basins and this toilet. He declares himself fascinated with carbon fiber because of it's lightness and depth. Somebody should tell him that carbon fiber brittles easily and may not be the best choice for this particular object.
The designer also offers a matching bidet...lol...yes, you read correctly.

New Ink
Making this quick one a bit personal; last week I decided (on a lark really) that I would go ahead and get a second tattoo. Up to that point I had just the one tatt on my wrist so I knew that whatever I got, it would be substantially bigger and also hopefully the beginning of a good couple more to come. :)
Aaany-who, take a look below. Oh, and I got it done by Dan over at Tattoo Blues over in Fort Lauderdale. Those guys have an awesome shop where some friends, my girl and I have all gotten stuff done. I'm also planning on going back towards the end of the month and getting some black & gray/color work added to this one.
Plus, they are the home to the great Frank Lee and Pinhead.
