Oh, iPad

I must say that I feel like I've had this real back and forth with the iPad since before its release. Initially, it seems like such a waste of money for what seemed like a blown up version of my iPhone so I wrote off wanting any part of it...but after stopping in at the Apple store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile and actually getting tactile with it and playing around with the device itself, now I really want to get my hands on one I can call my own. Hopefully I can eventually earn up some extra scratch with some of these side projects I've been workin' on with different people but who knows. I'll keep you updated on any further developments with this as it comes up.

GTFO! ...on second thought...stay there.

Man, ain't this some bullshitty nonsense?? Lindsay Lohan's crazy ass has already been released from prison after only serving 13 days out of a three-month sentence...really?!?
I mean, to us regular people, isn't prison meant to make people atone for a transgression? I mean how in the fuck is Lindsay, or any of these 'celebrities' for that matter, who receive the now-commonplace Hollywood-influenced 'slap on the wrist' penalty from our "un-biased" judicial system, supposed to learn that there is a penalty for the things they do which are against the law?
I think that after so many examples over time of celebrities barely feeling any kind of sting for committing these varying levels of crimes, they will probably now come to expect gentler treatment or lighter sentencing, simply because they're famous...meanwhile, there are non-famous members of the citizenry that get much larger/harsher sentences (comparatively) for similar, if not harsher offences.

Just a bit of food for thought. If you'd like to share your thoughts, feel free.

Swagger Jackin' on T.I.T.S.

In a very clear-cut case of straight-up jacking of a design/concept, the T.I.T.S. blog has taken to putting this out there on blast for all to see...and seeing as I just think it's all sorts of fucked up that this did indeed happen, I thought I'd post up about it to spread the word.

WTF?! Follow-up | Birdman Revisited

Man, I thought my original post on this subject was bad enough, and yet Birdman finds a way to top himself in his 'awesomeness' (insert sarcasm).
Enough talk though...I'll let the new pics speak for themselves.

WTF?! | Birdman Edition

Alright, so somewhat inspired by Ed Lover's "C'Mon Son" segments, I have decided to write up this little rant about Baby/Birdman when I saw this ridiculous looking thing in the new Lil Wayne video for "On Fire"; towards the end of the vid they cut over to Birdman and this foolish motherfucker has a big ass red star tattooed on his shiny, bald-ass head. Need proof of this act-o-retardation? Then check this out:
Ain't that some ludicrous shit?? I mean, I know that man is reppin' Blood shit all day, but this is too god damn far...shit, I still shake my head when I see The Game's big ass cover-up star but at least it's less noticeable than this shit.

Drake? Really?!

So, I needed somewhere to vent my thoughts on this subject because I can't, for the life of me understand why everyone is all over homeboy's jock...I mean I have heard some nice stuff from him but even as such it's nothing super-special, going beyond anything else you hear on radio. I'd have to say that the first Drake track that I heard that actually impressed me was "I Want This Forever," (re-released as "Forever" featuring Wayne, Kanye and Eminem [link]) and for that I'll give dude credit.
Now as far as "Best I Ever Had," I honestly can't find the appeal in the track...not even Wayne could save that one. I mean I can openly admit that the instrumental itself doesn't wow me either but I'm not factoring that into my Drake rant. If it were up to me, dude would probably stick to singing over tracks and leave the rapping to someone else; I honestly don't think (read: pretty much know) that Drake isn't an MC first and foremost as proven by the
'Blackberry Freestyle' on Funkmaster Flex's show [back in April] that made its way around the web and as such, he should probably not rep it so hard as if he were from the streets ("Degrassi stand up"?!?).
At the end of the day it's nothing personal that I have against him, especially considering that that would be foolish seeing as how I don't know him (lol), but I did want to vent to the web and see if someone can shed some light on "why the fuck is dude getting so much shine?" especially considering how many other notable acts are trying so hard to make it to the level of a Drake (see
XXL's Top 10 Freshmen 2009...yes, even Prince of Fail, Charles Hamilton).

Nude Celebs

What is it with celebs and their nude pics constantly 'leaking'?
Now I'm not about to sound all prude-ish and say that I, like most [I'm sure], like a good celebrity scandal and nude pic reveal...but sometimes, enough is enough.
It's like you can almost set your watch by when the next 'accidental' revelation of some celeb's intimate photos will drop.

Case in point: Cassie.
Since late last night, I been reading on some blogs about it and finally today the actual uncensored pics emerged. Now, Cassie [and her people] are saying that her 'computer was hi-jacked' and all that shit. But really, had they not been there in the first place, then it would never have happened.
Basically, there's no smoke if there's no fire.
Now I get it that all couples do their thing with respect to these kinda shenanigans but if you are someone of note and you know these things exist, best thing to do is track them down before they make their way to the internet...or, once the damage is done, just own up to it and that's it.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal to everyone, I mean, we have all at this point seen someone nude...some that we'd like to see and some that we wouldn't [I'm sure]...so what is the big deal? Sadly, I've also noticed that even though the celeb themself is the most taken-aback, they are also the ones that can't let it go. It's ridiculous.

Alright, this has been the longest rant thus far and I'm sure it isn't all that interesting but I just needed to put that out in the ether.

UPDATE: It would seem that 'someone' (I know you think it's Breezy) leaked these scandalous photos of Rihanna just a bit ago...CLICK HERE if you dare...lol

Sadly though, this just proves my point; in less than 2 days and there are 2 celebs who's private stuff hits the 'net...SMH
