Asher Roth & Nottz "Enforce The Law"

For the latest visual installment from their Rawth EP, Asher Roth and Nottz decided to reinterpret the popular 2001 movie Training Day. In the video, Nottz portrays Denzel Washington's famed character, Detective Alonso Harris, and Roth plays Ethan Hawke's role as his rookie sidekick. As the gun toting, drug smoking, crime fighting duo hit the streets to reenact a few key scenes from the film, they recite their appropriately titled song "Enforce The Law" from inside their undercover cop car. Check out the clip above!

Freaks and Geeks by Childish Gambino

Dope song with a nice and simple video. Yeah!

As a bonus, you can download the Radio Edit of the song HERE.

Wale ft. Lady GaGa Chillin'

This track really appealed to me when I first heard it about 2 years ago; not only did it cement how much I liked Wale as an MC but it was also what made me actually take a closer look at the then-relatively less-known Lady Gaga, which would lead to me really liking her as an overall artist...yeah, sometimes she seemingly tries too hard but she's always being creative with it, and that's something I can really appreciate.

Kanye West ft. Rihanna All of the Lights

One of my favorite tracks off of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy; don't know if it's the horns or the drum pattern but this track is just fun...and to top it all off: Rihanna. Enjoy.

Britney Hold It Against Me video

Oh man, oh man, where to start with this one?
After all the hype and build-up for this video and Britney's subsequent comeback, I must say that the final product for this vid left a good bit to be desired. I don't want to come across as one of these bullshit bloggers that just trash and tear down something for the sake of tearing it down, I am genuinely a bit befuddled by this one.

Pato Pooh ft. Adam Tensta "Follow Me"

Just wanted to show some love for Swedish hip-hop; it's a shame more people in the States don't go out of their way to listen to stuff from other countries.

MONSTER Official Video

Video leaked a couple of days ago and it seems that UMG has been blocking every source of the leak, but I managed to pull this one off YouTube. If the link goes dead, I'll try and refresh it as I can.

Bone Thugs "Look Into My Eyes" Video

Apparently it's been one of nights where I've been listening to nothing but tracks from the late 1990s...tracks which I consider classic.
Here we have Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's contribution to 1997's Batman & Robin (groan) soundtrack; I try to forget that part, but thankfully the song will always be the redeeming trait of this whole thing. I made this selection because I feel it's an under-appreciated track from Bone Thugs that I will always have a fondness for.

VERBAL + YOON "Cherry Bomb" | 50 Years of Dr. Martens

Here we have a remake of the Runaways' track Cherry Bomb as interpreted by Verbal & Yoon of AMBUSH® fame. This track comes from the "50 Years of Dr. Martens" album put out by Dr. Martens in celebration of their 50th anniversary. I gotta say that I really like the new flavor they've injected into this track along with the great imagery present in the video.
Check it out and enjoy guys.

Eminem ft. Lil Wayne "No Love" Video

After the preview, it’s the complete version. Eminem unleashes the video of his Lil’ Wayne-collaboration “No Love”. As in his previous visuals, the plot adapts itself to the song’s theme. Accordingly, this clip sets its focus on growing pains. Weezy’s part in it was shot before his incarceration while Just Blaze makes a cameo appearance. Off Em’s Recovery. Press play above.

JoJo "In The Dark" + Mixtape Download Link

After having a shit-ton of issues with her label and not getting already-completed material released by the label for a slew of seemingly-bullshit reasons, R&B singer JoJo has gotten together with RapUp.com and released her Can't Take That Away From Me mixtape, which acts as something of a prequel to her upcoming album although the sound presented here isn't necessarily an indicator of what that album will sound like.
I do like the track and encourage everyone to check it out.

Also, peep the video below along with the link where you can download the mixtape for free.

CRS "Us Placers"

Always loved this track, ever since I first heard it. I like revisiting it all the time, so I figured I'd share with y'all.

I still wish that the Child Rebel Soldier project between Kanye, Lupe and P will one day see light, but as time goes on it seems less and less likely it'll be anything more than a random track here or there. Oh well, there's always plenty of these dude's individual endeavors to keep me entertained.

Mr. Liqer "Kanye West: Apology Song for Taylor Swift"

UPDATE: The original YouTube video got pulled but here's a cleaner version of the vid with the exact same track. Sorry about that folks.
Oh man, tonight I had the privilege of meeting up with a local Miami artist, Mr. Liqer, and his team, and was played this hilarious track and video they just posted today. They wanted to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Kanye's crazy-ass outburst during Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance, which he's been apologizing about since it happened.
Check out some more from Miami's own Mr. Liqer via his official website and YouTube channel; keep your eyes and ears peeled for more as this gent comes up in the world of hip-hop.

Kanye's Video Painting for "Power"

Here it goes. The much anticipated new video to Kanye West’s new single “Power” has dropped today. Already declared in advance as a painting, rather than a simple music video, one can clearly say that Mr. West did things different on this one. The video was directed by Marco Bambrilla and the style was influenced by none other than Michelangelo.
The album will drop in October.

I gotta say, the video is very high concept and I think Kanye & Marco pull it off quite well.
