adidas Originals Neighborhood Campaign 2010 | Star Wars

Well, here is the just released trailer for the adidas Originals x Star Wars collection we mentioned a couple of weeks ago.; it's quite the fun advert for the launch and the remixed Vader track kicks major ass. My personal favorite part is the Daft Punk hel,ets at the end...priceless.

Info:
adidas Originals is kicking off 2010 by welcoming you to the neighborhood, the street where originality comes to life as artists, athletes, and celebs celebrate their style. Everyone’s invited to their street corner along with some special guests, who traveled from a galaxy far, far away to launch a year’s worth of celebrations.

Star Wars and adidas Originals have officially joined forces in their most colossal collaboration to date, bringing you a striking collection of sneakers and apparel inspired by the characters and crafts you’ve followed for a lifetime.

The most iconic moments and beloved figures from the Star Wars saga are translated to the streets, telling their creative story across a forceful collection of adidas Originals footwear and apparel.

Celebrate this powerful alliance to the beat of a new and improved remix of the Imperial March, as Vader and the Stormtroopers land on their street corner greeted by Snoop Dogg, David Beckham, Calle 13, DJ Neil Armstrong and Daft Punk representing their originality. No matter which side of the Force you’re on, believe the hype, this year is going to be massive.

There is a lot more to come from this campaign so stay tuned!

Nike Air Max 95 Snakeskin

For Spring 2010 Nike looks back to its Air Max 95 silhouette for a new interpretation of the popular Snakeskin motif, previously seen on a wealth of Nike designs. The kicks pair the reptilian material with a fresh medley of grey hues amongst a white base with black mesh. Available now through select Nike retailers worldwide.

I must admit, these are quite choice; the Air Max 95 has been one of my favorite of Nike's styles as of late.
Good look with these Nike.

Skiff Reader

Amazon, eat your heart out. There's a new e-reader in town and it might just be the first real competition for the Kindle. The recently announced Skiff Reader boasts not only the biggest hi-res screen (1600x1200 resolution) but the thinnest and lightest profile, at only a quarter inch thick. Not only that, it also makes use of some impressive new foil display technology that ensures its durability and makes it flexible like paper.

Ron English x The Simpsons

Yesterday, January 10th, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special “In 3-D! On Ice!” aired on FOX. For the occasion, Ron English was commissioned to paint a variation on his Homer/Jackson Pollack motif… in 10 seconds. An interesting collaboration between The Simpsons and one of our favorite artists. Hope you caught the episode...if not, it's currently available for free on Hulu.

WTF?! | Birdman Edition

Alright, so somewhat inspired by Ed Lover's "C'Mon Son" segments, I have decided to write up this little rant about Baby/Birdman when I saw this ridiculous looking thing in the new Lil Wayne video for "On Fire"; towards the end of the vid they cut over to Birdman and this foolish motherfucker has a big ass red star tattooed on his shiny, bald-ass head. Need proof of this act-o-retardation? Then check this out:
Ain't that some ludicrous shit?? I mean, I know that man is reppin' Blood shit all day, but this is too god damn far...shit, I still shake my head when I see The Game's big ass cover-up star but at least it's less noticeable than this shit.

Kick-Ass' Hit Girl | Red Band Trailer

For all those in doubt who think Kick-Ass is just another cliché superhero movie and aren't taking it very seriously, I suggest you take a quick look and see what comic fans have been clamoring for since the SDCC teaser was released, if not before then:
